(Sir) Ian Holm Cuthbert was
born on September 12th, 1931 in Goodmayes, England. He studied
at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and spent 14 seasons with
the Royal Shakespeare Company (touring with Laurence
Olivier in the 1957 production of 'Titus Andronicus')
before coming to the New York stage.
