A Hobbit's Tale

The story of the Uruk-Hai :

The Uruk-Hai first appeared during the Third Age, in the War of the Ring. They were bred out of Orcs and Men by Saruman. They were larger and stronger than the Orcs and they could withstand the light of the sun.

Saruman used great armies of Uruk-Hais to destroy the Fellowship of the Ring and get the One Ring. But his Uruk-Hai kidnapped Merry and Pippin instead of the real Ring-Bearer, Frodo. One of the Uruk-Hai killed Boromir in the Battle at Parth Galen.
