DVD N° 1 + 2 The extended version of the movie (the movie + 30 mins of unreleased footage).

The additional scenes feature : more footage of the battle at Hamon Hen, a scene at Lothlorien where Galadriel offers a gift (which will play an important part later in TTT and ROTK) to each of the members of the fellowship, a scene in the Mines of Moria, two new moments during the departure from Rivendell (one showing Arwen's reaction to Aragorn's leaving and another one with Elrond), Aragorn at the grave of his mother, Aragorn singing the ballad of Beren and Luthien while watching over the sleeping hobbits, Bilbo telling the history of the Hobbits (voice-over as coming from his memoirs), an introduction on the character of Samwise (where we see his talent as a gardener), a scene at the Green Dragon Inn, and a scene of the Hobbits, witness of the departure of the Elves from Middle-Earth.
