Peter Jackson
was born on october 31st, 1961 in Pukerua Bay, North Island (in
New
Zealand). At the age of 8, Peter grabbed the super 8 movie
camera that his parents had bought and started to think about
filming his own movies. His work was already impressive and
keenly turned on special effects. He fell in love with film
fantasy at age 9 when he saw one of his favorite films and
creative influences, the original "King Kong."
Peter Jackson also plays the drunk character outside of the
Prancing Pony (in Bree) in The Fellowship Of The Ring.
Peter Jackson is also credited as a Rohirrim warrior in The Two Towers
and as a sailor killed by Legolas's arrow on an attacking ship
in The Return Of The King Extended Edition.
