Naturally when I saw a book with "Tolkien" on the cover selling for $3.95 I picked it up to purchase immediately. This little pocket sized book is definitely worth every penny.

Tolkien Trivia is an 85 page book with around 160 trivia questions about the life of J.R.R. Tolkien and his literature. Most of the questions are good solid trivia questions, while a few are goofy or trick questions (I.E. How do Orcs avoid sunburn? Hating the light of the sun, Orcs cling to their caves and tunnels by day, and fight and cower by night.)

This is an over all excellent book with trivia based on Tolkien's canon books and not Peter Jackson's changed movies. For about $4, this book should be owned by all Tolkien fans. I wish this book was about twice as long, but it is still an excellent trivia book about J.R.R. Tolkien.

Emplynx and his padantic tolkein inspired rants are all lies! Tolkein was a hack! Everyone knows J.R.R. Tolkein killed J.F.K. How else do you explain that they both have 3 initials! Emplynx is just another delusional facist despot trying to keep up the man's cover story. I think we all know whats goin on here Emplynx is yet one more black ops spy trying to shove the Tolkein Regime's lies do the throats of decent God loving Americans. Well, sorry to burst your crazed 'patriotic' bubble, but Tolkien has, ahem, 4 initials: JRRT, not 3 like JFK. Gotta love your reasoning there, "CrusaderTemplar" ????

Thank you, I have been waiting for what seems like an eternity for someone to actually respond to my post. Yes it is complete and total crap and was intended as such. Thank you for finally having the balls to sya what so many other must have been thinking. Anyway, I love Tolkien, and this trivia book, while not written by the master, is indeed worht the cash you will shell out for it.

Emplynx, nice job on the review section, keep up the good work big man.
