Welcome to War of the Ring Chat. This is just a brief introduction to the using the chat room/s.
Firstly you have a choice.... you can either access the chat via your browser here (just type in a nickname and login), .for those familiar with mIRC, you can find the chat room on, Sorcery.net, port 9000 and the channel name is #WaroftheRing.
If you want to download and install mIRC then go here, and follow the instructions.
To register you nickname while signed on with the name follow these instructions.
/NickServ REGISTER <password> < [email@address.com]| [none]>
Register a nick with a specified password and email address.
Examples:
1) Register the nick you are currently using with the password: 1llm4d3mut3,
and email address: author@warner.com
/NickServ REGISTER 1llm4d3mut3 author@warner.com
A quick word on rules. Always treat others as you would have them treat you. Be courteous and have patience. In regards to swearing, we have a zero tolerance policy on it. If you are caught swearing you'll receive a warning, if you do it again you will get a week ban from the chat. Repeat offenders will get banned fro 3 months.
Also don't use colours for your text, it is hard to read and gives everyone a headache. Also remember using CAPS is shouting.
