Celtic Woman

A fairly new band, these girls can REALLY sing! Their offical webpage is www.celticwoman.com. I first heard of them on Youtube, singing a cover of 'May it Be'. They have stunning voices and do a wide range of traditional and other well-known pieces.

I love Celtic Woman. They are just an amazing group. The way they harmonize so naturally is breath-taking and mind-blowing.

Celtic Woman is a wonderful group with a magical bunch of lovely ladies. My favorite is Mairead. I saw them perform on PBS one night, and she was amazing! The way she plays the fiddle is mind-boggling. She's awesome.

There's three cds of theirs that I know of. "Celtic Woman" "Celtic Woman, A New Journey" and "A Christmas Celebration"
But each girl herself also has her own cd! I hope they make another album sometime... :grin:

One song that would be amazing to hear them sing is the Elves' hymn to Elbereth from "The Passing of the Elves" in the FotR movie. It's a song that they could all sing, with the intricate harmonies and passionate feeling. I would love it if they actually did that.
