I want to discuss the deep and dark musical Sweeney Todd. Not the movie, even though it did rock!

I've never seen the musical, and never even heard of it unstil the film came out, but I have to say, now I've seen the film, I want to see the musical!

I love this show... I first heard about it in 2004, and shortly afterward, I got to hear the original Broadway cast album and see both DVDs (the 1982 one with George Hearn and Angela Lansbury, and the 2001 concert with Hearn and Patti LuPone). Then I got to see a live community theatre production in 2006. (I ended up going twice!) Loved the show and the movie, in slightly different ways. :)
