Some of you may remember The White Flame, my first audio play production. Well, from that, White Flame Productions (WFP) was born, and I am busy writing and casting more audio plays.

White Flame Productions is proud to present 'The Last Day', a short (10-15 min) audio play depicting the final few hours of Anne Boleyn as she prepares to face her execution, crafted from the accounts of the time (with a little artistic lisence)

I need some men to audition for the two male characters in this audio play. I've had a huge response from the women, but only two people have auditioned for the male roles, and neither of them took note of the one most important factor: All actors must have or be able to emulate a british accent.

Audition deadline - 6th April.

Recording and Contact information -

-Record in mp3 or wav
-Save the lines as "charactername_yourname"
-Send your auditions to averil_white@hotmail.com

Characters:
MALES
Name: Guard (small part)
Audition line 1:
You are free to go, Lady Cathaway, but do not detain us, or we shall arrest you on your own terms.
Audition line 2: Very well, Lady Anne. There will be little pain, I assure you.

Name: Henry VIII (Small part)
Audition line 1: She never changed, not even at the end. She was ever thus. What spoke she then?
Audition line 2: I wonder what was passing through her head then?

I have already cast Anne and I'm debating between two others for the other female character (Lady Alice Cathaway - a made-up character, but based on reports that said that Henry gave orders that there should be four ladies-in-waiting attending on Anne at all times in the tower, and to report back to him everything she said and did. I condensed them down to just the one lady-in-waiting, and made her a confidant of Anne's, as Im sure she would have made friends with at least one of them).

In that vein, I have also put together a little trailer (using stock footage, so it's not fantastic, I'm afraid...)

That trailer is quite neat! I really liked the monologue you once did, and I'll be looking forward to this audio play's completion. :)
