Hi Follks,
I was chatting to Dernhelm and it seemed to me that having a final place for stories to go when they are done would be a good idea.
So we will set up an area on the main part of the site where stories which you have finished can be placed in a more easily read format.
If you have a story which has been worked on in the forum or even on ewhich is just complete then send it to me and we will add it to this new section. You can also have art or photos inserted into the body of the story.
Let us know you thoughts.
Regards
Fatty

Fatty,
Congratulations on this ever-evolving site! We authors are thrilled at this new development! Thanks so much!
Here's one question:
I have Windows XP at home and the word processor is Microsoft works. Will there be any problem submitting work as an WPS file? I know at work I have Windows 95 and it will not read any document saved as a wps file, but changing it into a rich-text document can result in lose of some font styles. Also it changes the spacing and over all appearance of the document.
Oops- here is another question: If we have text in italics do we need to place to code within the text of the document or will it display just the way the document is submitted?
Thanks Again Fatty!

Ok well I should be able to read any format. Though please fromat them in Arial size 12. As this is the site wide font.
I use Office XP but it shoud read most of them apart from really obscure ones. Please double check your spelling as well and where possible use the correct accents on names.
Any other question just holler. Maybe do a test mail to me or something. :-)
Regards
Fatty

 I'll be waiting for it!!
But can authors just sent the whole finished stuff to someone themselves, after editing a bit here and there (spelling mistakes, etc) or exclude their work from being finalized?

I think Tar said that her short story is soon coming to a close...so that would be another addition. I would be glad to help sort out what to put up Fatty.

It's not here yet...i don't think...correct me if i'm wrong people...but i think Fatty was just trying to get some initial feedback from us. I'm sure it's safe to say that the majority of us would love to see such a section on the site but let's remember that Fatty is a really busy guy! :cuddles: :gofatty:
