View Full Version : What should be on the final theatrical release poster of two towers?

We've been discussing what it should be for the upcoming ROTK but I just realised that a final poster for this years two towers has not yet been chosen.

Thoughts.. :)

My theory is they'll show more floating heads. Methinks Saruman and Gandalf should be prominent... maybe facing off in the center of the poster while around them are the the three plotlines in three seperate groups... like below them we see Legolas, Aragorn, and Gimli running, Merry and Pippin in the upper left, and Frodo and Sam in the upper right.

Yeah thats a good idea. Saruman facing Gandalf with the hunters running across country below. Frodo and Sam should definatly be in it as well.

Heh... am I the only person who think's we'll only get the most fleeting glimpses of Treebeard until the movie's out?

Kinda like the Balrog...

Oh yeah, I just noticed that. We didn't see the Balorg at all until it came out. I told my friend who I saw it with about the balorg (cause he hadn't read the book) and when the cave troll appeared he said, 'Is that it?' and I said 'no , that's it' when it did appear. You should have seen his face it was kinda like this :elfeek: lol

Oh god...

If they make it that SAME shot with G the White holding that staff in front of his face...

I swear, I've seen that shot one too many times, no matter how cool it is!

it prob will be!
they'll also use the same Eowyn (cos she'll deff be on the poster) that we've all seen many many times before and the same Faramir, Theoden and Eomer that we're so accustomed to!
It'll prob be Frodo and Sam in the centre surrounded by floating heads of Aragorn, Leg and Gimli, Merry Pippin, Eowyn Faramir Theoden and Eomer maybe Arwen and most deff Saruman and Gandalf.

We still won't get to se him. It'll be soooo intreguing that people will have to go to see it...it's a money thing! :huh: :(

I want to see merry and pippin...aw!
