Do what you can in this game about rhyme
There shall be no winners or losers this time
But please, you must know, there’s a limit on span
Two to four lines each if you can.
As the thread master I have the obvious need
To begin this idea in a way you’ll take heed
A few stanzas from me shall give you a clue
On what it is you must do.
I shall start with a couplet, and you follow on
Each person continues as if it were song
Rhyming hither and thither until we have scored
A splendid verse that Ol’ Bilbo would reward
Normal rhyming and assonance are allowed in this game
As some words can be hard to fit into the frame
And others still may not make any sense
‘Cept to those whose logic may be dense. ;)
I can see a great epic growing in this thread,
A large tale of grandeur, when all is done and said
But when that shall be, I don’t know.
Perhaps it is time to get on with the show?
If you have any queries or suggestions to make
Please PM them to me, for Eru’s sake.
