I found that article on main page about the remake of The Wicker Man. The good news is that although the hoollywood remake is set in the states, the other one, well more of an extension of the original story, is to be shot in Scotland, part of it in Glasgow.

SO Christopher Lee and Sean Astin should be filming here soon. I will keep my ear to the ground and see if my better half can find out some more.

The original film is a cracker, quite disturbing. Though my teenage dreams were indeed filled with Brit Eckland dancing about in the buff ;-)

thats great to hear.....The Wicker Man has always been for me one of the classic horror movies ever......such a clever atmosheric little piece that has been shamefully treated over the years....nice to hear its finally getting some notice....:thumbs:

The Wicker Man is one of my all-time favourite 'horror' films - if it really is horror. I didn't know there was a re-make coming - any more info please?
