The reason this is not in the gaming forum or whatever is because of the quote on the new Haldir card:
"In the days of old, my people stood beside the King of Gondor---we come to honour that alliance."
Now, as you can imagine, that is NOT his line. If I remember, it's either Theoden or Eomer's. Mostrly like the formor's. Unless they're just using that line for that card, we have anoher case of line-stealing---a favorite of all movies.
Combined with Mr-my-peeps-are-coming-to-HD Haldir's new title "Emmisary of the Galadhrim", it once more backs up the Elves being sent by the lord of Lady to HD.
*sigh* Of course it would make sense for him to say that line...the Elves were once allies of Men. I can really see Haldir saying that to Theoden and Aragorn. But what's poor Theoden gonna have to say? Surely they'd mention the Oath of Eorl...wait. No, they wouldn't, would they? It would prolly be considered "irevelent information." pfbbt
