let me tell you, it's the smilies that keep me comming back :) i tried a bunch of forums before i found this little gem, the other ones were too i don't know, intimidating, nope serious is a better word. most of them were ones where not a word could be spoken against any of the characters with out several people jumping down your throat. this one is filled with friendly people and interesting topics; it just plain kix!!

yeah, is does, I love it too. I used to post on several others but I haven't since I found this place... it is so friendly, and the people generally are so nice! i mean, the smillies rock too, and the forums are v user-friendly. know what i mean?

others tend to be intimidating... or over tolkienish, where people who want to learn can't... or people get snippy or snide... and the mods dont care...

exactly you couldn't ay I love..... cause they'd be all no doing this and stuff and Imean I know it gets on somepls nerves but they go and tell us off by being all nice and stuff ya know I also used to post in other forums but stoppe after coming here:thumbs:

p.s another thing about this site is that if yoiu get something wrong about the books, people don't jump down your throat. like i made a mistake about how gandalf came back in the TT, and tar kindly corrected me. if it ahd been anywhere else i think i would've gotten the same response if you know what i mean :)

And people are nice about agreeing to disagree... I like it here too. Some site forums are INCREDIBLY strict. They have stupid rules that don't seem to have any point. It goes beyond obvious stuff like no swearwords, and no insulting each other. Half of the time, i couldn't figure out what the ppl getting yelled at had done, even after checking the rules. But this is nice. And cozy, as some ppl have mentioned. Go Wotr!

It means a lot to know that we actualy may be getting it right! lol

We did our best to get back online as quickly as possible, and only encountered one little snag while we were setting up the new server. The company that houses our server is a very reputable one that has a great reputation for up time and support.

This server is also a wee bit faster so the site over-all should load quicker.

Thanks again for your endearing support and for your patience during this transition.

PS. We have lots of new things in the works, so check the news on the main regularly! There's no telling what you may find! ;)

i'm on one other web page regularly... but i'm only there for RPG's since this forum only has 2 so far... but this is my home!! i was cruzing the forum's on the other web page and they are so... i don't know serious and snobby... they were yelling at some guy for being silly, and calling him immature... and i thought "wow, these people are really snobby. i'm really glad that i have WOTR, they encourage silliness!" then i promptly came back here :)
