The Legolas fans of the world need something to say on International Legolas Day. We or I rather, was thinking of saying Happy Legolas Day in Elvish only I don't know how. So, if any of you out there can help us out of our bind, your help would be very much apreciated! Thankz!:angel:

Lol.......in Quenya, you can use this literal translation:

Ahem, Legolas would have been fluent in Quenya as well, though it may not have been his "spoken" language. Remember that Quenya was still known in the 3rd age, yet typically reserved for matters of ceremony, lore and song. And I think he'd be quite impressed if you spoke to him in Quenya. ;)

OK, here is the Sindarin translation, I could not do "Happy Legolas day", but here are two alternatives:

"Greetings on Legolas day!"

Nef Legolas lû annon suilad! [nev LEG-oh-las loo AN-non SOO-i-lad]

Lit. "On Legolas day I give greetings"


"Have a good Legolas day"

Garle maer Legolas lû [GAR-leh MY-er LEG-oh-las loo]
