A new band from Finland is enslaving the european metal scene.
BATTLELORE!

Their latest album "where the shadows lie" is a masterpiece.
here's some details about it:
1 All the songs are inspired by the works of JRRT
2 The booklet is really interesting to look at.The guys[and two girls] are so into Tolkien that each and every one represents a different race and character from the LOTR. Their outfits are just great. You can see some pics at their website.
3 The front cover is a famous image by ted nasmith

if i were to define thier genre to me it's something like gothic. there are "raging " male vocals, catching guitar riffs, mid paced drums, keys and divine female vocals.

OMG some very cool makeup. they must be a few sandwiches short of a picnic though ;-). They look great!

As everyone here has already stated, they do look like a cool band. I will check out some of their stuff and get back to you with an opnion.
