These days he has a bounty of choice roles coming his way. Next up, Orlando's an outlaw in the movie The Kelly Gang, co-starring Heath Ledger. "It was an all-boys thing," Orlando says, "riding around on horses with guns," Then he has to cope with another ring - the boxing kind - for a British comedy called The Calcium Kid. "I play a working-man's hero, a young guy who is a milkman, but he also boxes," says Orlando, who's now in training for the role. "I drink a lot of milk."

There is one downside to this kind of success: Orlando's so popular now that people want to gossip about him and pass around wrong information on the Web, which strikes him as really strange. To set the record straight, he insists his idol is not Superman ("I've been trying to live down this story forever") and he didn't start acting to pick up chicks ("Rubbish," he says. "I liked to perform from an early age"), Orlando hopes to have his own site up soon to help squash the rumors.

Until then, know this: He puts family first, living in Canterbury, where his mother runs a language school for foreign students (his dad died when Orlando was four), and he's in love with Maude, his dog. Exactly what I used to think. I used to be like there is no way that is the oh so hot Leggy I thought orli was ..not ....as...good...or even close... but now I see he is drop dead gorgeous

Well I was surprised when I didn't see any Legolas thread's soley on him so, here we go:

Here you can list your favorite things about him, why you like him, and please not why you hate him :( . Also you can say information on him his past, future, special interesting facts.

Well I know why I like him, he's awesome, my dad was into archery and when I first saw the Fellowship when I was littler with my friend at his house and so I related him to my dad and liked him. Then everything just grew from that. His super precision with the Cable shot at Helm's Deep, the goblin's forehead shot, and his agileness and athleticism: shield surfing, oliphant killing singlehandedly, running on a chain onto the cave troll's head etc.

and that's why I like him, anybody else? Or any cool facts traits, whatever just talk about Legolas cause I always like to learn about Lord of the Rings, plus things on my favorite character.

Wow!! I just realized why you guys were talking about cobwebs, the last post before mine was in 2002...that's 4 years ago!!!
Well I guess that shouldn't be all my post talks about so I'll contribute:

I saw on the special feature DVD on TTT or on ROTK but Orlando said that he did all of his stunts..and it was amazing because he had just broken his back like the year before or something like that. Well, how much of the sliding on the stairs on a shield did he do, and if he REALLY did that mount on the horse of TTT on the warg scene? And any other stunts that were really unbeleievable and wondering if he did it, please tell me the details.

Um...I'm not quite sure but he did do a fair amount of them. I'm sure there are interviews he's done that mention a lot of that. ;)

Yup, I love Legolas. I'm an archer and an elf lover so its only natural that I love Legolas. lol ;)
