A bridge I have, but water isn't found,
and wings i have, but noone saw me fly,
and if I run, it's way above the ground,
my back's in front, tell: what am I.

the fleshy outsides of the nose are known as the Wings, Ringbearer, as a non-native English-speaker i looked it up in a real good dictionary to be sure my translation from Dutch was valid in English too ;-)

nope, Tar-Ancalime, this time the ly should not be there, as it was a REAL (hard-copy) dic, and a good one, tho my knowledge of English garmmar my be just a shadow of yours, I didn't mean to say it was a really good, but a real, good dict. Interpunction was off. I give you that :jester:

Hi BonosGirl,
Maybe it is not as common in English as in my native language, which in fact made the riddle harder to solve :jester:

ah... a good dic that was not fake? i assumed you were using "real" to modify "good" in which case you used very poor grammar. i would say, a good, real dic, because obviously "good" couldn't be modifying "real," no one could think of it in that way. but you're also right in saying a real, good dic (with the comma lol)

aw c'mon shadow it is not... I happen to be a grammar freak, and a native speaker. anyway I think your English is excellent

:jester: Tar-Ancalime, you make me , as i don't deserve the qualification excellent where it comes to my use of this %%# complicated way of communication you call the English language, especially as there seems to be a difference between English and American too. ;)
