I was thinking :) (haha one of my friends got my thinking on this today) and I was wondering that if you could make up your own LOTR soundtrack to go along with the book, what songs would you put on it?

My friend asked me that this morning and its been bugging me since then because I can't think of any songs other than the ones that are on the actual soundtrack.

It's probably because there isn't anything in it that you would want to change. I wouldn't change it, the music is beautiful. :)

I know what I *want* in the *TTT* soundtrack (if that is ok to talk about) - the mix at the second half of the newest TTT trailer! I LOVE THAT MUSIC!... and I can't listen to it properly when Saruman and Gandalf and Arwen etc are flapping their tongues! (no I'm not that mean) lol

Well, I would just extend some of the songs that are already there. I'd put in the full Concerning Hobbits (On the soundtrack, there's just a couple of missing measures here and there... it really bugs me!)

I would extend the sad "Exiting Moria" music at the end of The Bridge of Khazad-Dum. On the soundtrack, it cuts out right before Aragorn says "Legolas, get them up!" and I always expect it to keep going into that beautiful section with more emphasis on the strings rather than the vocals, but it doesn't...

Also, when Aragorn and Boromir talk in Lothlorien, there's some really great stuff going on that isn't quite like anything else on the soundtrack...

hmm.. I guess I'm saying that I would add an extra disc and include ALL of it! :)

yep...i guess i'm pretty much gonna say the same thing......all of the music from the film should be on it...especially the party scene...the coolest music!!

True. Add on music that was in the movie, but not on the Soundtrack. That still wouldn't change the sountrack, just add to it.
