Here in a nutshell is the view of the Jester on LOVE,
but jesters in the old days tended to be the only ones to speak the truth :jester:


Reflection

So far apart.. in time and space..
as opposite.. as opposites can be..
and YET
a tear.. did meet a smile,..
like a dewdrop meets the sun,
and a rainbow.. called Love.. was born
Eternity.. a frozen moment,
the Universe.. held in a hand

Beleglotiel, Sindarin.... thanks for your praise :blush: ... I will try and write more to please you both .... and to express the things the way I feel and see them... some poetic like these... some cynic and sarcastic like my other poems ;)

Hello everyone,

Though this thread is quite old I decided to let all of you know I was informed yesterday Tu Apr 27 that this poem has been selected by the jury on poetry.com for publication in their Summer 2004 compilation which for now has Eternal Portraits as a working title.

Apart from being published, along with appr 200 other poems from other poets (from May 2003 till April 2004) the poem is a contender in the (semi)final(s) of both April 2004 and the Annual Competition as well.
