Help, I do not know what to do! I was informed that I am a winner...woo-hoo! I go to school at Eastern CT State University and my mom is freaking out about me going. She thinks the whole thing is some scam and she doesn't want me to go alone. Is there anyone in the Willimantic, CT or Seymour, CT area that is going? I am so excited that I won, and I don't want this to be hindered!!! Or, does anyone know if I am permitted to bring someone along with me...?

i am in the same boat!! my parents are freaking out, an i am a bit too. if i'm allowed to go do you want to meet me? i'm not from ct tho, but we might be able to meet in the city... i agree, i don't want them to stop me.

Welcome to the boards and congrats on the win!

I've seen that a few people are wondering as to wether or not you can bring a guest. I am sorry to say that the answer is no, the ticket is only good for the person who won it. We gave away 75 seats for each location LA and NY. There was at least one maybe two other sites that also ran the competition, they planned on filling the theatre, so there should be lots of people there!

I'll be making a similar announcement in the Announcements forum to try and clear some of this up! lol
