Elentari, or the Queen of the Stars

Behold the starlit skies above!
The stars we shall ever love!
Oh, Elbereth Elentari,
For thy Labour, praise to thee!

The Two Trees

Two Trees shone in Evermore,
In the Blessed West,
In Valinor!

Yavanna Kementari did make they,
In the darkened day;
To give light to Valinor,
Blessed Evermore!

The light was pure,
And for seeming ever sure,
It drew the elf-hosts from the Hithor Shore
To the West, to Valinor.

For ages long they stood a-light
In the peace of starlit night.
The Elves crossed the Sea for light and peace
Song and beauty there did not cease.
