Well, at the moment (until we get ours running;)), the best and actually only one I know of is The Encyclopedia of Arda (http://www.glyphweb.com/arda/)

Thanks,
Still some question about Gil-Galad's parentage, have read in places that he was Angrod's son who was the son of Orodreth. supposedly this is detailed in HOMe. I don't have it but... any thoughts? sorry for lack of coherence...in a hurry

Encylcopedia of Arda is the only one I know of. Easy to use. Well put to together. Interesting collection of information.
Tar-p. they have a survey on the front page at the moment about the off-line form issue.

Finrod, Gil-galad was the son of Fingon who was the son of Fingolfin.

Angrod and Orodreth are sons of Finarfin.

This is OT.
I have one question about their main page; www.glyphweb.com, there is a problem with their Geography site, does this work for anyone of you?
