Finaly got my collector's edition box!!

WOW 5 DVD !! money's worthed there!!! anyhow!! i can't find a preview of TTT!! is there one or not on this edition?

The TTT preview is an easter egg on Disc 2.

From dvd.ign.com:

"The second egg can be found on disc two, and is the awesome four-minute "Fan Preview" of The Two Towers that was shown at the end of The Fellowship of the Ring this past March as it was on the way out of the theaters.

To watch this awesome trailer, go to the Scene Selection menu and navigate your way to the final page where you'll find the chapter with the Fan Club Credits. Move the cursor to the numbers on the far right of the screen, and when it's on "48" press down to make an image of the Two Towers appear. Press enter to view the trailer in full anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio."

Ok - what do you get extra on the 5 disc, compared to the 4 disc??

The first 2 DVD are the extended movie!! split in 2 part of roughly 1h40min...

3rd is a 2h30 documentary that covers the prodiction from book to concept

4th is a 3h30 documentary on the shooting of FOR

5th is a National Geographic "Beyond the Movie"

of course all those dvd have more extras!

Got it. My Tolkien collection (consisting of only The Hobbit, LotR, and the Silm right now) is sitting between the likenesses of Isildur and Anarion as I type this! :)

My Collectors Edition should be on it's way anyday now. I sent of the payment for it today..... I can't wait until it get's here, and I can see the beauty that's been added.;)

I got mine too. Did you guys also got the three trading cards and the Fan magazine in the box? The trading cards ar more beautiful than I would have imagined. The magazine had a good interview with PJ and an interesting article about the making of Sauron. I also got a free ticket to the Two Towers with mine! Was that standard?
(Also, the National Geographic CD has a lovely picture on it.)
