Who still thinks of Hugo as Againt Smith?!

Just figured to post this...
Not matter how many times I see LOTR: Fellowship, I still always see Hugo's character (Elrond?) as Againt Smith with pointy elf ears.
Just 'cus I saw Matrix, and he was perfect for the part, then I see Fellowship and there he is, with the same tone in voice.

No matter whatt, I see Elrond as Againt Smith
Who else suffers like this?!

I did see him as Agent Smith, but that was for like a second. Then I realized this is a totally different Movie, and a totally different Character. I like him in both Movies.:)

Mixing the Matrix with LotR is very strange. The one thing that would have been cool was if they would have done the Fight scenes in the Matrix Style.. That would have been too cool. Just imagine The Hobbits jumping through the Air in slow motion attacking the Uruk-Hai, or the Orcs... Would have been to funny....... lol

When I first saw Hugo in FOTR, that was my first impression as well - the entire Agent Smith reference - yet now I envision him as Elrond, and only Elrond.

Hey Tar great, another person who liked Hugo as Elrond! So did I, especially in the added Gilraen memorial scene. Very Elrondy voice, great Elvish.

Wow Sharky, Mitzi (from Priscilla) didn't even enter into my mind ..... maybe if they'd given Hugo lots of gold eyeshadow I may have considered it lol Was it the nice long flowing Elvish robes? We could always make him into Mitzi Smith ...the only drag queen agent to walk through the matrix. - Rivendell is just an Illusion Frodo - There is no one ring. lol

It's funny, I never had a problem when watching Hugo Weaving in LOTR and seeing "Agent Smith"....but just the other day I was watching "The Matrix" again and every time I saw Agent Smith, lol... I kept seeing "Elrond" :huh: lol

I kept seeing a combo of Agent Smith and Elrond....an elf/agent wearing intricate braids, a butterfly clip and sunglasses who can morph... lol
I guess I shoulda took the "blue" pill...lol

well, although I've seen The Matrix first it didn't influence my view of Elrond... it's more the other way round... the last time I've listened to the Matrix Reloaded soundtrack, during the score for the first Neo against Agent Smitheseseses fight, I had the picture of Neo fighting against Elrond in my mind... lol
