Mirkgirl
July 6th,2003, 01:59 PM
I have... I prefered the normal one...ages ago though... I was eating those all the time before my math exam after 7th grade... solving problems and eating M&Ms... I was pretty bored hehe

I don't remember having any since then... maybe they remind me of maths pfbbt

Ruby Yavevalar
July 8th,2003, 11:36 PM
Yeah, that could be it. like I won't eat those things that are thick wafers, peanut butter, all covered in choco, cause I had a bad experience with them--threw up, the thought of them still gives me a bad feeling in my stomache.....or that could be the fact that I want choco right now.....but I absolutely refuse to eat them anymore. but I'm gonna get me an ice cream cone real quick, then gonna surf the forum again.

I'm just back (well, the day before yesterday actually) from my one-week holiday in London. My mum and me went there on a coach and during the long journey (it took two days, we had to travel through the south of Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, France and a part of England after all) I needed something to keep me awake. Therefore I bought a bag of M&Ms on the ferry between Denmark and Germany and happened to put that in front of us. My mum couldn't stop eating them! :) I bought another, even bigger, bag of M&Ms on the way back, on the ferry between Dover and Calais, just because mum loved them so much. Or actually, she hates them because she can't stop eating them. lol

They have something similar to M&Ms here in Sweden too (well, they've got M&Ms too, but there's another one as well), but here they're called "Non Stop" and that's a very suitable name I have to say. lol

On monday I went to London and went to the Haagan-Daz resturant in Leicester Square and had a strawberry cheescake ice-cream in a cone with whipped cream and bananas and more strawberries, yum! I love Haagan-Daz ice-cream

Polly Sandybanks
July 17th,2003, 05:14 PM
I can't believe I actually lived for 4 months in a city (Leipzig) that had a Haaegen Daez (sp?) "restaurant" and I didn't go there once! I passed it a few times, but I never actually went there. I think I bought some Haegen Daez (jeez.. I really can't spell that name!) ice cream at some point in some shop though. I love almost all ice cream! Just like I love almost all chocolate!
I haven't had any choc since.. uhm.. yesterday. But that was only a few tiny pieces in a bag of candy that I had at the cinema. No "real" choc!

Lasgalen
July 17th,2003, 08:51 PM

I could do with some choc right now... Marabou milkchocolate preferably. ;) That's my favourite.
I wouldn't mind some really dark Lindt choc either though... 80% or even 99%. I tasted 99% once... and I've even seen 100%.. I wonder how that worked!? And how it tastes. I'll have to try to find that one again to find out, won't I!? ;)

I agree Mirk, Germany is a great country for choc lovers. :) Not too good for your weight though, as most of the choc is so cheap that you'll eat way too much. I almost felt I had to buy choc everytime I went grocery shopping, when I lived in Germany. Choc is good for the soul though.. ;)

LOVE toblerone!!! But then, I love anything with chocolate! (hence the rather insidious weight problem) The best thing ever tho was a party I attended....as dessert, there was a whole room of desserts like cheesecake, choc cake, tortes, etc. But the highlight was a table with angel food cake squares, pretzel rods, large strawberries and banana cubes (etc) with the centerpiece of a 3 tiered chocolate fountain!!!
