Well i posted a link to the new trailer on the main page. It should be quite fast as i uploaded to our own server.
What do you think of it. It is much as the one which was added to the end of Fellowship, but new music, narrations and some new scenes as well as some more of Gandalf talking.
If you have not seen it, then go download it, its only about 6mb. Tell us what you think.........

You need quicktime to play it, the file won't just play in windows. If you do not have quicktime, it's by Apple. You can get it for free
here (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/)

Does quick tim ecome up when you click on the movie file, or does it just create an error, if it does come up but is blank, you have to press play, else yes a reinstall might be best or an upgrade via the link above. :-)

Hmmmm.....don't really like the Galadriel voice over. There's not a lot of new content, is there...apart from surfing Leggy....and it's not cut very well with the music.
I think i prefer the original trailer....it makes my hair stand on end. This one doesn't.

Well the "other" trailer (which appeared at the end of the FOTR movie in the cinema Lady Elbereth), was created by PJ to be viewed as NOT a trailer, but as a special treat/preview for the fans that he knew would be returning to view the 1st installment again and again(like most of us here). :p
Hense the different feel and voice over etc., but I do agree that I enjoyed the dramatic feel to the preview better myself, but I LOVED the additional footage in this trailer too!!:whoohoo:

Illuvatar was correct...there was the special preview, cut and tagged onto the end of The Fellowship in cinemas and the new trailer.
The preview is, in my opinion, much superior to the new offering, tho' its good to see some new footage. The preview can be downloaded, but i can't remember where from.

Ilms right.....it would be best to think of this as "the trailer" and the footage that was added to the end of FOTR screenings as a preview...and designed in that way...its cool to see a little more tho....

My favorite shot was that of the Ent: I was kind of worried about how they visualized the Ents, so that sets one concern to rest for me.
Cheers!

Hey ... anytime we can get a Tolkien "fix" it's a good thing! The trailer was great. It makes a really good addition to the preview that was release earlier in the year (just think, now with a little editing and integration ... you can have a 6 minute preview)! My blood is boiling for the second movie, although, I do have a few reservations. From what I've been able to read ... there are quite a number of deviations from the book. Remember WarRingers ... we just have to keep in mind that we are viewing an "interpretation" not the myth as set down by Tolkien. This way you can keep your sanity ... hehe!

I thoroughly enjoyed the glimpses into the future through this latest trailer, which is different from the one i saw in the theatre. I've watched it probably twenty times already!
