Has anyone read Mary Stewart? I have read only The Crystal Cave , but I was wondering if anyone else had. It is probably just me, but I can't stand it. I think, for Arthurian legend, I liked The Mists of Avolon better. Anyway, I just thought I'd put it out here and leave it to all of you.:dragon: :king: Gandalf is better than Merlin!

well i have to say i liked the Crystal cave far better than the mists of avalon.....i didnt think that Mists was one of MZBs better pieces at all...and i loved the realism of Crystal Cave.....the grit of it......and the real people in it too.....not a one of them perfect, each with thier own flaws...

I don't know. I guess I'm just having faint memories. I read The Mists in seventh grade, and it tramatized me, so I guess that's a sign of a good book if ever there was one. But The Crystal Cave was like cardboard. I don't know why, but I really didn't like it. I guess I like the Mists because I'm just a little feminist at heart.
