The Two Towers is almost here!!!!! I can't wait!!!!!!! I just got the special edition DVD and I haven't put it down!
Actually, this also might be up everybody's alley. You might want to check out this band called Fathom. I just heard a new LOTR song by them called "The Two Towers" and it is great! You can hear it at:

I wonder if the song is in the actual film. If it isn't, it definitely should be! Does anyone know anything about the song or the band Fathom?
Cheers!

Hey Carlos, You're not IN the band by any chance ;) lol
No sorry I haven't I heard of them. Have you managed to find out anything about them?
I think the score is pretty much all Howard Shore and I have the feeling the he gets to pick which artists he wants to collaborate with on the score. Though, I think I read somewhere the other day that another group (possibly from NZ?) wrote the band music at Bilbos party and have helped in writting Gollums SOng on the TTT soundtrack(anyone confirm that?)
And as Bilbo said "Welcome, welcome. Come in, come in"
Hope you have a good time on the board.

Thank you all for the welcome messages and I appreciate all your input! No, I'm not in the group (although I wish I was after hearing that song!) I don't usually go crazy over rock bands, but when I heard this I totally flipped! I'm wondering if it is going to be in the film or not! Probably not, but it is a fun thought! Cheers! --Carlos
