The wind blows cold and all is still
The war of the Ring has come
One too many it has killed
during the beating of the Drum

The fellowship was thought as failed
But forever shall it reign
agaisnt the wind they will sail
and health they all shall gain

The fires engulfed the Mountain
The light infected the dark
Water flows from the fountain
all is saved like the flash of a spark

Tired Middle Earth has grown
And tired will it be
Until the healing winds have blown
And comfort has fallen on thee


TA DA! Hey I thought this up all of sudden and wrote it down! What do you think?

You took the time to read my story, so I'll read your poem.

I think it is very good. :thumbs: I like the second stanza (the one about the fellowship) the most. I think the third stanza could be improved, but overall great poem. Good job.

Really good.

I like the idea of the 3rd stanza, but it needs a bit of work.

Wind is such an emotive element don't you think....... (no wise cracks please)

it was just an observation, you know that wind is emotive for people, they attach a personality to it etc. The unforgicing noorth wind etc.............
