Crown of Gondor

Ok, I have a question: does the Crown of Gondor have cheek-guards? It says in the book it was like the helms the Guard, but "loftier" etc. It does not specifically say it had cheek-guards, but it was in the fashion of the helms, would it?

Is it what Elendil wears during the last Alliance battle? If so then yes.

well...am thinking more along the lines of what the book says, no offence tho. And no, that would not the the Crown, I hope. It's not the right colour.

That's an interesting question and it certainly has got me thinking too.
