Ok. A few friends and me decided to make up 'songs' that actually go with christmas carols. Full credit to my mate JP who came up with this glorious version of 'The Twelve Days of Christmas'...
On the first day of Christams the valar sent to me:
1) My one and only darling Billy
2) 2 tall towers AND
3) 3 elven-kings
4) 4 gorgeous hobbits
5) Fiiiive magiiiic Riiiiings!
6) 6 Men of Gondor
7) 7 hairy dwarves
8) 8 lovely she-elves
9) 9 evil horsemen
10) 10 white istari (I know there were only five, but just imagine the valar gave me a few more specially because it was christmas!)
11) 11 orcs a-hacking (as in swords, not computer programming)
12) 12 ponies prancing (or Ents a-hooming if you prefer)
And another from a person I only know as Crossbow...i think they are brilliant:
On the first day of the fellowship, Lord Elrond gave to me:
12 dire warnings
11 evil portents
10 dark pronouncements
9 scary ringwraiths
8 crazy nights - oops wrong movie
7 names for Strider
6 names for Gandalf
A Dwarf and an Eeeeeelf
A Wizard with bad hair
3 stupid Hobbits
2 filthy Men
And One Ring to ru-ule them all!
And now for my creation. It is meant to be sung to the tune of 'Frosty the Snowman' but I am not entirely sure if it fits...if you find it doesn't...then just treat it as a poem :D !
Sauron the eyeball
thats always reathed in flame
a disembodied bad guy
that will never be the same
One look into the palantir
You come under his spell
Then he sends out the Uruk-kai
And he makes your life a hell....
What harm can he do?
When he has no arms or legs?
But nine scary invisible guy's
that are all really quite dead!
It is pathetic
that it's all about a ring
A bunch of (quite cute!) grown men
fighting over such a thing
Come on! It's jewellery
Sauron is wasting all this time!
Coz he can buy it from Argos*
For only eleven ninety nine!
*Argos is a catalogue shop in the UK.
