Thanks to Adunauriel for the Thread title....
There's a thread for looking like an Elf so I thought I would start one about looking like an Hobbit! Anything actually other then an Elf if you so choose, but this is mostly about embracing your true Hobbit-self. Don't fear...it has nothing to do with being hobbit sized...unless that is what it is for you....;) Enjoy boys and girls....Lintelol lol ;) :p

Wow, I'm like the second one to vote! I've recognized my hobbit qualities a long time ago, and I'm proud of them! Allthough I admire elves for their grace and way of life, I'm not about to kid myself as to who I am! The fact that I sometimes do unhobbitlike things I blame my Tók- ancestors...:evilcool:

well there SHOULD be a 'men' choice up there which is what I would pick, but of those ones I'm most like a dwarf. Strongwilled, quick to anger (some times) but over all a kind heart  and my fav middle earth place is Khazad-dum.
p.s. if you don't believe dwarves have kind hearts look up the chapter on the fields of cormallen and check out Gimli's feelings for pippin or look at the way he fell for Galadriel!

Although it isn't an voting option, I'm an Elf, even though I sometimes can be more like a Hobbit at heart from time to time.

well, it isn't always based on height for someone to be a hobbit...it's hobbit quality as well....;)

Excactly, this is mainly about the inner qualities...allthough I'm not very elvish in appearances either...!

I would be most like the race of men, but out of the options here, definitely hobbit! I enjoy my food (and other people's!) ;) I like having fun and I can be a bit mischievous sometimes...
I don't think i would ever be like an elf - i live too much for the moment, whereas elves live for so long, they see the bigger picture.

hmmmmm.....I going to have to agree with Aranel. I'm more like the race of men but out of those definately hobbit!

this is true....Sorry I didn't post them as an option, but there are so many other threads devoted to elves and men I thought they didn't need another one!! Someone else can do that if they so choose! ;) :)

This is to clarify why I posted the options above in the poll. I find the quality and personality traits of each listed race are some of the qualities most people have but don't know which ones are the more dominant in their own personality. So here's my own take on a definition for each race's characteristics.
Hobbits- Laid back, content with family and friends, generous, peaceful, possibly short but not required, cheerful, and resolute.
Ents- solitary, amiable but detached, quiet, formidable / intimidating, stoic and purposeful
Orcs- Dependent, nasty, angry, competitive, slavish, demanding, and mechanical
Dwarves- Determined, overconfident, principled, organized, group-oriented participant, ready for action.
These defintions are why I posted the choices in my poll. Feel free to agree or disagree with me...;)

In that case i'm definitely a hobbit! ;)
And you're right - the other races are seriously underrepresented!

Works for me! But of course, so we don't get heart attacks and high cholesterol and all of that, we ought to have some restrictions on what you could eat. We may have the heart of the hobbit, but I doubt we have the digestive system of one!lol
