Well... I kinda edited it but i was saying how funny its gonna be when Gandalf appears at my door with his hobbit friends asking for candy lol lol

Well, to avoid this in the future(because it makes the replies to your original post not make sense), we have limited the time in which you can edit a post to 15 minutes after it's posted.

This should allow time to correct any typos and what not, but not allow posts to be changed a day or two later and after folks have started replying to the original.

If editing is needed after the 15 minute time span, it can still be done by either a mod or an admin. Please don't hesitate to contact us as we are always glad to help.

Well i had to go back to all my posts to chnage certain things, but i wouldn't have been able to do it if this law had been in order. I suppose i would have to contact a moderator to do so now! :(

Not a problem.....

That's what mods are for, plus if you don't post inapproriate material in the first place, thing like that won't happen now would they?

The edit feature is mainly to correct typos and whatnot, changing the entire original post has a tendency to make the rest of the replies to that thread not make any sense whatsoever, and that can tend to be annoying.

Hopefully this minor change which is standard across the majority of other discussion boards will help.
