You may already know this, but the Grey Havens are in the film. Here is a quote from 'the Lord of the Rings: the Making of the Movie Trilogy' by Brian Sibley:
'Our conversatin could continue for as long as there are drawings to look at, but Alan needs to return to his sketch of the Grey Havens, since John Baster and several other model-makers are waiting to start work on the miniature set.'

Well, that's very good news to hear. I'm quite pleased the Grey Havens will indeed be shown in ROTK.

too right they should include the grey havans! however, i am disgusted that the scouring of the shire will NOT be included in rotk! peter jackson has confirmed that this mini-battle is not going to feature in the final instalment. how will saruman come to his end???!!!

Here are two clues of Saruman's death:

A picture in one of the movie books of Wormtongue lying on the floor of Orthanc as though he has been pushed over. His face is mad, and he is holding a dagger....

A Grima action figure with 'dagger slashing action'....

At least Wormtongue still kills him, hopefully. All signs point to Wormtongue killing Saruman at Orthanc.

i've read the books but can't remember how saruman died! i think it was wormtongue who wopped him!

and if you do find out for definite how saruman dies, pls don't tell me! or write 'spoiler' before you reveal this info. it's just i like surprises and detest spoilers when it comes to lotr films!

The ending of this movie trilogy with the scene at Grey Havens will be very beautiful and yet tinged with sadness at the same time.

I think that without Grey Heavens the end will not be "truely" I just don't have better word for that. When I read the book, i think that this is the best part and I hope that it will be one of the bestest parts.

I'm so glad the Grey Havens will be included. Though I'm sure I'll cry my eyes out at the end of ROTK. I thought the end of the book was beautiful, but yet sad. Just imagine, Frodo etc going off.. then Sam coming back to the Shire to his little family. It will be beautiful, a good end, but sad all the same. mecry
