AOL E-mail Addresses

It appears that the fourm software, vbulletin, is having trouble with anyone using an AOL email address. This means when you first register you do not recieve the confirmation e-mail which is used to activate your account.

WE are looking into resolving this as soon as we can. We are not sure if it is a problem with AOL filtering certain e-mails or with the forum.

If you register but cannot post or make threads then this is probably the reason. To resolve it just email myself or Illuvatar and we will activate your account for you.

Apologies for any inconvience caused, we will endevour to sort this out , if we can.

This happened to me 3 times when i tried to register... i was thinking there was something wrong with my account so I just made a yahoo account :)

i registerd last night with my AOL account, and though it took about five tries using the "forgot my password" feature, I finally nagged and harrassed the server into sending me my activation link.

It can be done without bugging the administrator, but you got to be persistant.

Tis a lovely site and well worth the minor hassle with this glitch though.
