I saw the preview trailer for 'The Pirates of the Carribean' today at the theater. Wow! It looks fabulous! And there were tons of shots of Orlando in it. I can't wait. It looks both Scary and Hilarious - kind of tounge-in-cheek like the first Mummy movie.

Yes, it was PG-13. Also found out this trivia (I'm a big Brendan Fraser fan):

The Mummy can be connected to LOTR within six degrees.

Ned Kelly has already came out on theaters elsewhere but the U.S. So if you live outside of the US, look up "Ned Kelly".
In the U.S. the title is "The Kelly Gang", why , I don't know.
In the US, The Kelly Gang opens May 30.
Don't know when "Calcium Kid" opens.

Pirates of the Caribbean opens here July 9th.
Don't forget about "Troy" 2004? Both Orlando and Sean Bean are in it.:thumbs:

It made perfect sence... I think the reason that The Kelly Gang isn't comeing out here (the US) as soon as other places.. Is cause it isn't a big budget movie.. Also, and this means no offence to any Aussies, it's not about American History.. Were a very fickle country when it comes to things like that.. So I don't really think it had anything to do with Heath, or Orlando... Heath is actually pretty big here.. And Orlando is on his way up...;) :grin:

I think Hollywood sometimes act like there's a political reason behind the decisions they make, which I find frustrating.

Well I just got my Disney Magazine in and there was a whole Section on Pirates of the Caribbean. It has stuff about the movie and a lot of the article focused around Orlando. It seems that Disney is hiring many LOTR stars, there was also a article in there about Viggo upcoming movie.

johnny depp is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot!! did you know he's forty? anyway he's acting in this film was so reminiscent of fear and loathing in las vegas... everything he did was just so halarious he truly stole the movie... ugh just so gorgeous!! orli was brilliant to, such a sexy swordsman he can board my ship any time... god i love saying that lol, me and my sister dressed up like pirates to go see it... LOVED it when they jumped into the water and were all sexy with their shirts clinging to them ugh ...all in all just a fun time at the movies

i went to c PotC a 2nd time and i saw orlandos tattoo (the elvish 9 one) anyway its on his right wrist u can c it when they (jack and will) are sword fighting. toward the end of the fight u see wills right arm go up in the air and you can see it cause i guess he forgot to put that stupid cloth over it in that shot. its near the top of the screen.... its not really blurry either u can c it.

So. I just saw this movie today, yes, for the first time. (I don't get out very often since I quit my job :blush: ) ohmygod I loved it!! I thought it would be, you know... stupid... and that only orli fangirls would be the ones going to it... but no, it was great. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it and I can't wait to go see it again (which probably won't happen on big screen again. *sighs*)

PotC, however, had such amazgin actors and realistic enough special effects that it wasn't cheesy - even if the plot was stretching it a bit much sometimes :grin: lol... yes I can't wait to see it again but I think it's probably going to leave theaters soon, I put off watching it for so long :huh:

At the end of the credits: The monkey comes swimming into the cave. You see Barbossa's dead body....Jack (the monkey) hops unto the treasure chest and takes one of the gold medallions. When he turns around he is a skeleton and kinda growls/screams. Apparently, that doesn't make everyone cursed again, just the monkey. But I'm not sure. Its kinda suggesting a sequel though....oooooh!!!!
