I am a lover of western stories. :loveyou: I borrow and read all sorts of western books! I love books written by Louis L'amour! Certainly he is the best and the most famous writer of westerns, because he's had many of his books made into movies. My other favorite author is Clarence E. Mulford. The way he writes his stories is unique, and I love them for it. Come on, I can't be the only one who likes westerns out here! :read: :p :read:

No you are not
There are at least two of us because I love then as well. I read my first Western when I was thirteen and fell in love with them.
I don't have a favourite author, but I prefer the Black Horse Westerns over the others.
I really love the Borgan McNally adventures by LDTettlow. Borgan is such a great character, a saddle-tramp who just can't keep is nose out of other folk's afairs, always talking to his horse and having arguments with himself, and then never taking his own good advice.

Glad to know there's someone who shares my interest! :) I haven't read that book and will do so the first chance I get. It's kind of hard to get English books where I live, but I hope I can read as many as possible! I love Clarence E. Mulford's series; it makes me laugh all the time! lol I can't withstand the broken English of uneducated cowhands!
