Theoden is awesome. However much his character was a bit changed by the movie, I thought Bernard did an awesome job. And the book Theoden rocks as well.

Saruman. Although it's a close run thing between him and Gandalf, I just happen to have a lil thing for the evil side of characters. There's nothing really that wrong with Theoden, it's just that first few minutes of him looking.... crusty.

Christopher Lee was great as Saruman! lol I don't find him actractive in that meaning, LOL, but I like Lee as the evil character. He played count Dooku in StarWars very well too.
