Hey everyone - we have nearly a year to wait - please don't start with "i'll kill him if PJ does this/leaves out" etc, etc -stop stressing - you'll have heart failure by the end of the year if ya'll continue in this manner - HAVE FAITH!!. PJ has not failed us yet - hes done a blooming marvellous job so far, and I doubt he can mess up ROTK - I don't think its possible - ROTK will be the best of the three, no doubt.

Couldn't agree with you more, Daisy. The way these movies are shaping up, there's no way PJ could ruin RotK. It'll be the best one of the trilogy!!! I can't wait!!!! ARGGGGG!!!! I'm gonna go nuts!!!! ASDFSGHFD!!!!!... ok, gotta calm down... still months away...

Keep breathing... that's the key... breathe... :)

I do not doubt that Return of the King will be the best movie I have ever seen.

Whether or not it is the best adaptation of Tolkien I have ever seen depends on whether or not Jackson decides to continue the trend he started in Two Towers of changing anything and everything! But I'm hardly a purist, and I enjoyed TTT a lot despite Aragorn's fall and Faramir and the elves at Helm's Deep, so unless he REALLY gets off track from the book I don't think that's gonna ruin it much for me!

Just from the images I have have seen so far, I expect to cry buckets, both in terror and joy. Bring on December!:)

Apparently TTT was the one that diverted majorly from the books - so ROTK should follow the book more closely

Where did you here that, Daisy? I've heard theories about that from Aint It Cool, but nothing official...

Hasn't PJ said that in interviews? I can't remember specifics ~ its just one of those vague memories so it might be wrong.

I don't remember seeing him say it, but then again I don't catch *every* interview he does (much as I'd like to!)

I had one of those "if he leaves out.." but I don't worry any more I mean he has lead us this far and have not lead us astray forgive me I was wrong to despair PJ:)

PJ has said in interviews, as has Phillipa Boyens that TTT is the most deviant from the books. Therefore, ROTK will return closer to the source material, much as FOTR did.

And hence it will rock!!!! :) I was re-reading "The Battle of the Pelennor Fields" today (sorry if that's not the exact title of the chapter, but my books are in spanish :)) and man, that's gonna be one hell of a battle/scene!!! With the Nazgul and the "corsairs of Umbar"... argggggggggg!!!!!!!
