From lotr I think I'd take legolas greenleaf(elves are my favourites),but Glorfindel from rivendel wouldn't be bad too(blond hair,brave....)

I wouldn't need anything else

I would take Legolas with me, but he has to bring his bow with him!! And for the 'thing' maybe.... some lembas bread or something? I mean, you have to survive! Or pen and papier or a Sindarin dictionary or something like that....

Assuming have something to eat etc so we can survive I'd take paper and pens cos I'm always writing something (stories, poetry, diary etc) and I'd probably go mad if I didn't and then wouldn't enjoy Legolas company!
