It might be nice to have a section with photo albums, where members could post pictures of themselves, or other things of interest to the community. Can you do that here, or do you think it's a good idea?

I figure we will do something like the present galleries, and just order them by member's names. I will do it just now, though I only have Illuvatar and I. I will announce it and see if anyone send anything in. :-)

I would love to submit a picture of myself... but i dont have a scanner! this sux... I have lots of drawings I would like to show to everyone...*sighs* I'll get one for Christmas :)

As regards art work, anyone with art they want to share can send it in and we will add it to the main art gallery. A short biog is also required.

Yes, thanks Fatty; it makes it interesting to see who you're talking to. I pictured everyone differently too, but it's great to see the genuine article! I hope the others will send in theirs too, soon! And the kilt looks great on you, Fatty; I think more men should wear them, but I only get to see them at celtic festivals a few times a year.
Anyway, thanks again,and I can't wait to see other pics as people send them in!

Anyways folks, get them in I have recieved a few more and will add them together with a button on the main forum on Saturday or Sunday. You can submit more than one along with a little description of what or where it is. Don't worry about age etc........we have members across the age spectrum. It is Tolkien not social demograhics we are about :-)

plaid is another word for the tartan pattern....A plaid on the other hand is a garment, which was the distinctive wear of the Scottish Highland chiefs and clansmen, always in their distinctive pattern......the wearing of the plaid was outlawed after the defeat of Bonnie Prince Charlie....and from the plaid descended the kilt....:grin: :cool:
