The current PC or concole lotr game projects are good,maybe not the concole but PC would be better.Because now Legend Ent. is making Unreal II and Id Software's making Doom III.There was a game expo two weeks ago(my reason of becoming offline) and some gaming websites showed the video of DoomIII in their place.It was EXCELLENT! The lighting,the animation...I thought it was a digital animation.But it was real and that video was from the gameplay.I can't imagine how a lotr game would be with that technology.I think we would be very scared! (think about walking in the dark paths of the Mirkwood :) )
what do you think?Do you think the current game engine is enough for Lotr?

I hope they do use some cutting edge engine for future games. I am sick of seeing older game engines reused. As you sy atmosphere will be everything in a any LOTR game. Thanks for the footage of the EA PS2 game, looks awesome.
