Which game should I buy - FOTR or TTT? I'll be getting the xbox version. Can anyone give good pros and cons to either?

Ta muchly

Get The Two Towers. I hear the FOTR sucks butt.

That's what I've heard too. I have TTT for PS2. It's really great, but hard on any setting other than 'easy.' There's also clips from the film (some that were in the film, some weren't but I hope to see them in the TTT SE.)

So in other words, go with TTT. :)

I agree, TTT is far superior to the FOTR game. Although it all depends on what kind of game you want: a video game based on the novel, or a video game based on the movies. I own FOTR for PC, yet I prefer TTT.

I own the Gamecube version of TTT, and it is such a wonderful console game. Although somewhat difficult at times, it is still a great game. :jester:

The cinematics, sound effects and overall gameplay (not the mention the special extras) are amazing.

Fellowship offers more playing time, but TT is, in my opinion, more visually pleasing. However, in TTT you can't play as Gandalf, or Frodo!

FOTR is I think more for younger audiences but I play it anyway and enjoy it too!! But I hate that my cheats don't work.mecry

Yeah do not get FOTR!! TTT rules! Even though you don't get to be Gandalf or Frodo. It's more detailed and really a very good game. Worth the money my dear.

The only thing that really annoyed me was that TTT was hack 'n' slash. Apart from that, I really enjoyed it. I really liked FOTR too (why does no one else?). One part was quite funny, where Frodo was revealed to be an American voice actor - he said 'erbs' instead of 'herbs'.
