It is very clear that the demand for fantasy is great since the FOTR came out. The memrobilia is fantastic especially the swords that we have been presented with presently. What swords would you like to see be made in the future either by United Cutlery or others.

One of my top choices would have to be a a Eomer/Theoden sword with the horses on the hilt and all. It looks awesome! :elfeek:

Personally, any of them as 'combat ready' swords rather than display items.

Of course the Uruk-hai and Uruk-hai beserker swords top my list. A full scale functioning version of Grond (the battering ram) would be just outstanding! Great way to meet the neighbors!

Thats hilarious! Anytime you forget your key just go to the backyard and retreive your battering ram.

Just as a point of order, Grond is the name of the battering ram used in the Battle of Pelannor Fields; the ram used at Helm's Deep wasn't named in the book.

you are correct. It was named after "Grond, Hammer of the Underworld" Melkor's weapon of choice that they alluded to in the initial sequence of FotR.

OK now back to swords, I think a version of the hunting knife of Aragorn's would be a favorite. Also Bormir's sword is quite impressive, the width is so large. Um any other swords?

Drizzt Do'Urden's magical scimpter that he got from Icingdeath's lair. It repels fire and has never failed him. I want it.

I saw at The Green Dragon they ARE coming out with Eomer's, Theoden's, and an Elven sword (other than Arwen's).

I personally would like to see Sauron's mace! Of course, its not a sword, but its still an LotR weapon! And maybe, though its not been seen on the silver screen, an Orcrist?

I've got good news for you. Arms of Valor is currently making a scabbard for Narsil (http://armsofvalour.com/miva/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=AOVL&Product_Code=012-GR&Category_Code=A) and is planning on producing a scabbard for Glamdring and Strider's Sword in the near future.

A legolas weapon set would be impressive-with the bow, quiver/arrows, and those two sweet elvish knives he carries.

Yes I have the Narsil scabbard. It is high quality and very thick. But I'd love the Strider's sword scabbard with the cutting kife on the side.

I want STING!!!!! And I'm weird and messed up, so I want it to really glow blue!!! lol Maybe I'll just have to get two of them--one that glows blue, and one that doesn't. heheheehe!!!! lol and whoever posted thosepics of Boromir's swords--I like the shorter one!!!

I'd really like to see Boromir's sword made and battle-ready, but more than anything Aragorn's Elvish dagger. Also, all of the sheath's in an exact replica of those in the movies for all the the swords produced would be great, it would help a lot with the sales of the swords I think also. Although not a sword, Gimli's Battle Axe would be a fun one.
