Here is another day calendar poem! The picture is the Ring Wraiths riding by at a gallop........yeah, that's about it, if you've seen one you've seen them all.
"The Hunt for the Ring"
They ride like shadows through the night
Looking for just one thing.
Desperately searching in their plight,
On a hunt for the One Ring.
Their robes hang about them like tattered black drapes,
Their heads are hooded and cloaked.
If you peer inside you will see no face,
You will get no returning look.
Their minds are forever troubled
To fulfill their master's dream.
Their urgency has now redoubled,
They are on a hunt for the One Ring.
Their steeds are dark and treacherous beasts,
They run like a storm of wind.
Their eyes are like those of demons unleashed,
A boiling caldron within.
They ride through canyon, stream and field
On a quest that's maddenng;
Their heart's desire knows nothing else
But the hunt for the One Ring.
