And yet another question arises.

Why do you suppose PJ chose not to show the feet of any Hobbit women in the film? For some reason, I've been wondering about that.

Only hobbit prostitutes shave their feet. ;)

When you're immortal puberty must last a lot longer, so the acne must be a real b*tch. Somewhere there is a song to Clearasil, the god of 5% Salicylic Acid.

Totally MHO lol

Take a look at Elrond, he's seriously on his way - but many will claim it's because he's only half-elf, and it's the human half going through male pattern baldness!

Now here's a funny thought - It's a type of testosterone that causes baldness, so if elves don't go bald is it because they don't have a lot of testosterone, and wouldn't that explain a lot about them being prissy and swishy? lol

For the record, the elves are my favorite race, have been since I was old enough to read. ;)

Totally MHO

I was watching FOTR earlier and paid extra close attention during the scene of Bilbo's birthday celebration, and did notice the feet of several Hobbit ladies, yet one needs watch really carefully. Although their feet didn't appear as hairy as the mens.

A natural occurence? Or perhaps the Hobbit girls do shave them somewhat. lol An interesting observation nonetheless.
