oh no, legolastheawesome - they WERE a pair during filming 'try seventeen' and then he dumped her for franke potente! i think the lij and mandy would make a really cute, kitschy couple, but not him and franke 'cos she's too tall and too old for him.

i saw try seventeen yesterday and it was full of surprises!
surprise #1: i liked it! i don't usually watch movies like that, but i did!
surprise #2: elijah and franka potente had a bit of chemistry in the movie, which made their love affair believable.
surprise #3: mandy's role is just a supporting role! and yeah, she's really tall for him.

I just watched the Bourne Identity the other day, and was trying to picture Elijah and Franka together - definitely seems like an odd combination, but he's got good taste: she's super-cool! (Lola, Lola, Lola.....)

Ummmm....hard to categorize. Kind of thriller/action, I guess, but in a very off-beat surreal kind of way. The basic premise is that Lola has 20 minutes to get 100,000 Deutschmarks to save her boyfriend from some thugs - I don't want to say too much more or I'll spoil it. It's been out on video for a couple of years now, so shouldn't be too hard to find.
