TTT for Gamecube

I should be getting this when it comes out soon and was wondering if any of you from America where I think it is already out could give me your opinions on it (or if anyone has it on different consoles as it is the same game).

It looks really good and has promising sword play action :thumbs:

I own TTT for Gamecube, and it is an excellent video game. I do reccomend it. :thumbs:

The gameplay is fun, yet some levels are more difficult than others. As Saruman said above, the game can be a bit repetitive at times. It's your basic hack and slash game.

I got it a few weeks ago and its a fun game. I don't know about the X-box or PS2 versions, but the only complaint I have is the compression rates of the movie clips!

I found it to be fun, enjoyable game. Yes, it was slightly repetative, but the varying enviroments and diffucultly levels make up the difference. Is it worth the money? YES!!! (especially after MP and SMS, its nice to play a some-what non-hair-ripping game lol )

Cool thanks guys. Yes I do believe it would be amazing playing it to the soundtrack and I am seriously with you there sliverwings01 about SMS. It certaintly is hair ripping...but great lol

Now I only have to wait till about March I think it is for it to come out :( Oh well :rolleyes:

It's an excellent game, IMO. Great graphics, wonderful gameplay. The Deeping Wall level is just perfect.

Yo, I'm stuck on the Breached Wall level, and I'd like to know: would charged-up sword/knife/axe attacks work better on the catapult panels than simple Fierce Attack Slashes?

The strategy which I found worked best was the 'judgement' move. For Gimli it's called 'Balin's Judgement', for Legolas it is 'Elrond's Judgement', and for Aragorn it's 'Isildur's Judgement'. This said, I have made it through the entire game through that move!

******. I cannot beat the Breached Wall. Two friends and I, all experienced players, can't defeat the catapult. Either we die or the door brakes down. It sucks.mecry

just use your analog attack it does more damage thats what i did and it worked.

I hated that level for about 2 weeks...A sercet code though for extra health(Gamecube):

I prefer not to us TTT's cheats. Why? Because the ones you have before the game is beaten suck. Full health? 1000 experience. Really no point of it.

hehe, the only time i use the cheats (now that i've beaten the game) is when my five year old sister plays fangorn forest so she won't die.

The thing I really didn't like was that I beat in a week. (about 10 hrs worth of actual playing)

O.K well I got it today :hooray: and it is really cool. I'm up to Balins Tomb I think, as i've just done Moria Gate as Legolas. The Ringwraith fight as Aragorn was cool as well. I like the way you can have really in depth sword fights and every character has a ton of stuff to but with experience points. It reminds me of Star Wars Jedi Power Battles, another cool game but no way near as good as this :thumbs:

Now I am really stuck on Helms Deep, Breached Wall level, where wave after wave of orcs just keep coming and then some cave trolls!! I can't take it :grin:

Sweet mother! I just learned how to do the Bane moves properly, and my game has never been cooler. Even though it uses up a lot of time. Aragorn's Bane of Saruman and Legolas's Orc Bane are the best!

Are they the ones where you block and follow up with a killing move? If so then yeah they kick ***. Aragorn slits their throat and i haven't been able to do legolas's one yet cause blocking uruk hai attacks send them too far backwards.

Yes, Bane moves are linked attacks. Though, it really slows you down.

Is it me, or does everyone who plays that game (TTT) have to yell at their TV? b/c I do it all the time like..."stupid frikin' orc, you're gonna pay for that!" do any of you guys do that?

I hate it when you die, you see the slow-motion Orcs slashing at your corpse. Talk about adding insult to injury.

You are definitely not alone there legolastheawesome. I hate it when you get knocked down and when you do a rising attack, the orc is just out of reach so you miss them he just knocks you down again. Grrrrrrrrrr :rolleyes:
And that slow motion 'failure' screen really does rub it in.

Ok. This is my first time on these forums and so i accidentally sent a message to legolas hates me when i meant to put it here. If your stuck on breached wall at the catupult part, follow this ( i have perfect with Every character including isildur on every level WIHTOUT CHEATS I MIGHT ADD :)). K so when ur at the catupult part, and have killed all the guys, u can position ur self so that u hit two of the boards at once. The absolute eziest way to kill it is to use the charge up y attak. For Aragorn and Isildur its wrath of numenor at level 8. Use it and both boards will be gone in 10 seconds. Then just use it again on the last one.

I just beat the game with Aragorn today. I don't think I'd have done the last level but i managed to kill the two cave trolls really easily because i was on a 'perfect' streak. His hidden mission (tower of orthanc) is really hard.

Way to go. Yeah if your on a perfect streak with the trolls on Hornburg it is pretty simple. Even if your not is kinda is since if u hit them once they are distracted and dont attack the gate. The Orthanc level is the same for all. It gets fun around floor 16 when a cave troll comes (floor twenty=trolls x 3:)). I presume your character has all the skills. Wait till u unlock isildur. U can beat Orthanc soooooooooooo ezily with isildur; hes incredibly powerful.

I just died on the last level of the tower of Orthanc despite having full health. I got sandwiched under the trolls clubs, which is very hard to get out of.

Hehe tough luck. Here is what i did. see if it helps.

1. just run around the trolls in circles, close (as in clothes) in then back off. From time to time the trolls will hit each other if positioned correctly. Or u can position the trolls so that two of them are in a line. then go in close to one and use the fierce attack. The troll behind that one will notice that ur close enuff and wack the troll in front. Once one dies, it gets real simple. just tap y onece NOT twice. then back off and repeat. Its eziest with aragorn of the three original characters. gimli is nigh impossible on expert (or on any difficulty for that matter im sure). Hes too cumbersome. OH and hey. The onering.net posted some cool info. Not officlam but liek it says if it pans out it could kick ***. WE COULD PLAY AS HOBBITS AND GANDALF.WOOOOOTTTTTT. here. i copied the paragraph. and there is the link for the page.

[someone I know] works at EA Games, at the moment he is working on [something] for the ROTK game. He said that 'this time you get too play 6 characters and there is 12 more levels that the TTT game. Plus were thinking of a Treebeard level. You will be able to play as Pippin and Merry (share levels or something), Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Sam and GANDALF!!'. Mind you, this is only in the design stages, but he said something about Eowyn agaist lord of Agmar as well!!'

Cool, thanks for the advice. Believe it or not i got killed by a stupid orc on floor 20 last time, or its the archers that get me. Great news about the ROTK game. 12 MORE levels than TTT...:thumbs:
As for your question, I can't quite remember, if you mean posts then it might be 10 or 20 or something like that.
